Hi there, I work as a writer/reporter in New York City covering business, health, technology and media in sports. I also spend my work time reporting for a market research publication. This blog serves two purposes: 1) A home for my various stories, 2) A way for me to convey my thoughts on hot topics in the sports world. I hope you enjoy what I have to write, whether you agree, disagree or otherwise.
I moved to New York City from Montana in 2007 – I grew up in L.A. – and I switched careers from landscape design to journalism in 2008.
I sat in the third base camera well with the MLB Productions crew during Game 6 of the 2009 ALCS. John Cena once asked me if I had to cut short our interview to watch Game 3 of the 2010 NBA Finals. Tiger Woods tried showing me how to play his video game with a PlayStation Move controller and I kept screwing up. I almost drilled Harold Reynolds with a whiffle ball while at the plate inside MLB Network's Studio 42. Those are some of my favorite memories from my job.
