Being from Denver, this really hits home because of Elway. Nobody gave him anything until he won 2 super bowls. He was never put in the same regard as Marino- but then he wins 2 SB’s and Marino is the one getting punked all the time.

there’s no science to judging quarterbacks precisely because football is such a team sport.

My thinking after this game was that I still thought the exact same way about both Brees and Manning after it ended. I still think Brees is an elite QB and I still think Manning is in the top 5 all time.
